OUR FACILITIES

The centre is comprised of three buildings: Wistaston Hall, The Grange and the Francis Morrisey building. In addition to the buildings there are extensive grounds which guests have access to throughout their stay. All buildings have full wifi access and are powered in an environmentally friendly way. Below you will find details of each of the building as well as information on the various prayer spaces, meeting rooms and relaxation facilities. 



MAIN BUILDING

Wistaston Hall is a welcoming holistic spiritual life centre that is an oasis of peace, care, and comfort. Please find a list of facilities below.

There are plenty of public toilets on the ground floor & Wifi is available throughout the building.


The Retreat Centre is set in six acres of well kept gardens with pathways around the grounds with seating points.


THE GRANGE

The Grange includes a prayer space, library, four bedrooms and self-catering kitchen. There is additional garden space to enjoy the spirituality of this environment.

FRANCIS MORRISEY BUILDING

A more recent development to commemorate the life and work of Fr. Francis Morrisey OMI.

  • Modern centre for today's conferences

ADDITIONAL FACILITIES

Prayer Spaces


There is a Chapel with seating for around 30 people in the main building. There are also other prayer spaces available in the main building. 


In the Grange, you will also find our newly dedicated St. Oscar Romero prayer room.


It is our hope that during your visit you can take the opportunity to have some time out and meet with God.

Meeting Rooms


In our main building we have two conference rooms with Wi-Fi and a computer point. There is also a streaming webcam available. You are welcome to bring your laptop, iPad, or other electronic device.


In the Francis Morrisey OMI building, there will be a multi-purpose conference room to seat 50 people, with Wi-Fi and kitchenette – ideal for day groups.

Other rooms can be used for breakout groups as needed.

Relaxation & Reading


The Francis Morrisey OMI building will contain an art space. This is an opportunity for people to express their creativity in a fun, gentle and relaxing way.


We also have a library with over 1000 books available for you to use during your stay. There is also a lounge area with a trust bar available and seating area if you should require. We also have a log burner in the main foyer for those winter nights.
